Dominican

Been working all day today. More work in the afternoon/night. This is from the hotel pool in the back yard. Pretty nice. I haven't had time o try it yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Panama

I got up from bed at 5 this morning, taxi at 5.45 and then plane leaving at 6.20. First from Linköping, Sweden to Amsterdam, Netherlands. Here I had to wait for many hours until the next flight to Panama City. Ten and a half hours later we landed in Panama. Took this picture, bought some whisky and then last flight to the Dominicans. Arrived at the hotel at midnight. The trip took more then 24 hours in total. Tired.......

Travel

Ok..... My job officially sucks! Today at 5 pm I get the news that a decision has been made that I'm suppose to go to the Dominican Republic tomorrow. Spring arrives for real in Sweden this weekend, 20 degrees celsius and above....all weekend. I'm going all by myself and I will work all the time. Sucks.....

Log-crew

Now we are all together again. At least for a while, I may have to travel to the Dominican Republic tomorrow or Friday. I won't know until tomorrow unfortunately. It's for work of course and hopefully I'll be back home next week already.

Ice

This is the ice dispenser that is built into our freezer. It supplies us with ice whenever we need it. And since the water in the taps in Sweden is actually cleaner then the bottled water we have connected the freezer to the water lines, so we never have to add any water. It's completely automatic. In the refrigerator we also have water connected so we can get cold water and even carbonated water. The water dispenser look similar to the ice dispenser you see here.

Carpenter

We went to get Linus today, as it's our week. When we got back home we played outside and when I walked across our patio I realised how pleased I am with my work. Look at the nice corners here *braging*. It's going to be a very nice to be able to sit here in the summer and have dinner and what not.

Mackmyra

This is one of my "investments" on the cruise we were at. It's a Swedish single malt whisky called Mackmyra. It's the only single malt being made in Sweden. It's a bit expensive but very good.

Cruise, day 2

Today we slept until 10 and then went for some breakfast. Even though it's a bit immoral I had beer and Jäger (don't ask) to my shrimp sandwich. We had an absolute blast today. We all had so much fun and by the time we got back to Linköping around 7 pm we were all so tired so we all just went home and had an evening in front of the TV. Great day. Ship ohoy...

Cruise

Whooohoo, today we went for a cruise from Stockholm to a Finnish island called Åland. The cruise takes about 22 hours and during this time you can eat good food, drink good drinks, have a bath or even sunbath under 3 fake suns (giant light bulbs that generate heat). We went with some friends from work and a couple of more people who are friends with us. We love these cruises, simple and fun!

Beach2009

After I came home from the meetings Erika and I took our bikes back to work to do some training. This is me after we get back again. Pretty tired....

Spex

Today I went on a meeting a couple of miles south of Linköping where we live. We are discussing a strategy on our cooperation across the organisation, and then have a bit of fun tonight. We are staying over night and continuing our meetings tomorrow.

Springtime

The trees are really coming to life now, we have a lot of trees with these kind of thingies all over. No leafs yet but millions of these.

Pillowdog

After lunch today we had a bit of cake and coffee, just when Linus had finished his cake he suddenly fell asleep on top of Ebba. We didn't even see it first, but he was sleeping tight. They stayed like this for at least half an hour.

Tree-tunnel

A little walk before lunch. Everybody was in a good mood, Linus and Ebba was constantly running around. My parents live next to a golf course and this is the path to it. A huge tree has recently fallen and created these arches. Linus loves to climb on the huge tree laying on the ground.

Easter

We hid some easter-eggs so that Linus and his cousin Peeboo had too find them. The eggs were full of candy and they were ecstatic. This is Linus looking for one of the eggs under a chair.

Patio

We're putting a wooden floor on our patio. It's going to be nice to be able to walk outside without shoes.

Skeleton Tree

Took a short walk with Ebba before putting Linus to bed. Found this tree which I thought really made an impression against the lit sky.

Beckham

This is my little Beckham, but good looking. He is only 4 and I haven't seen a kid his age with a sense for playing ball like this guy. He hits the ball every time he tries, kicking it high and far. I, who is a father that don't like football (soccer) very much (because most of the players are sissys that act more then play) is pretty frustrated, but even I realise that he probably wants to play in a team soon. I will not stop him, and I will try to bite my tongue when the other kids start with their fake falls. BUT, the first time Linus takes a fake fall, he will be suspended until he realise that I will never let him play if he continues to fake. :P

Stripes

This is from our bedroom. The wall behind the lamp is one of my favourite walls in our apartment. It's only on this one wall of this room we have these stripes. The other walls are just dark grey. It's cosy and the room gets really dark during night. Lights out....

Leaf

Nothing much happened today, work, eat, tv. This is from Linus room.

Superdog

BBQ

First BBQ of the year. We had great weather today and we decided to have a BBQ with one of our neighbors. We had a great night with good food and good friends.

Light-house

Scraphead

Today we went to our pub to eat and have a few beers. Then we went home and Erika promptly went to her computer to scrap. She makes the best scraps of everything we do, my lovely wife-to-be.

Birthday

My little Aprils fools guy turned 4 today. He's with his mother. We had a birthday party last Sunday, but I still miss him today. I think he is having a blast anyway, thankfully his mother and stepfather is very nice and will make his day. Happy birthday son....
