Hard Rock

This is part of my travel collection. I buy a glass from all the Hard Rock café places I visit. In this particular picture there is glass/pins from Cozumel Mexico, Beijing China, Sydney Australia, Madrid Spain, Bangkok Thailand, Montreal Canada, Shanghai China and Stockholm Sweden.
I also have a collection of glass that are from different Planet Hollywood restaurants around the world. I'll upload a picture of those some other time.

Spring soldier

Finally!!! Spring has arrived. The Tussilago is here. This flower is the strongest sign of spring in Sweden. It's THE sign. I found this lonely fellow not so far from home, the yellow fellow was the only sign of color on the gray-brownish mess that represent nature.

Birthday

Today we celebrated Linus birthday, even though he actually turns 4 on Wednesday but he is going to be with his mother then. He got a lot of fun stuff and I think he had a pretty good birthday.

Thai food

My parents stayed over and we had some Thai food which I and Erika prepared. My parents really love Thai food and they were very pleased. They had their three dogs with them, Emma, Anna and Roffe. So yesterday and today we have been 4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 kid and 4 adults in our apartment.

Today Linus is back after a week at his mothers. We went for a walk and both Ebba and Linus had really missed each other.

Lime

This piece of art was bought by my parents more than 25 years ago in Mexico. We moved to Mexico when I was 5 years old and stayed for 2,5 years. No, we were not fleeing from justice :P
This lemon squeezer is really good, I use it every week and it still works like a charm. Just a couple of weeks ago when we were in Mexico on our vacation I saw a new one that looked almost exactly the same. Pretty cool that the design hasn't changed in 25 years.

Shoe

Today we went to my parents to eat. After a short walk with the dogs my mother showed me her latest finding. An old shoe. She found it in the forest and brought it home to put it on the stairs leading up to one of the entrances. As you might see in the picture this entrance is not used much. :P

Swan

We took a walk to the bird lakes today. These lakes are boiling with life. Whenever you stay still for a while the birds start swimming towards you, they think you have bread to feed them.

Haircut

Erika got a haircut while I was away. This is the result. She is in the process of a makeover for her hair so this is not the end result, but it's getting close.
She has a funny look on her face because I just took a picture before this one and as usual she was blinking. I swear, on 90% of all pictures I take of her, she is blinking. Frustrating!!!! :P

Menu

This is taken with my telephone so it's not great. However, this is the only picture I took this day. Sorry...

Aske

I'm attending a training for leaders at an old mansion for three days. This place is located outside Stockholm. It's a really nice place with good food.

Gym

This is me training. Erika and I train together two times a week.

Hockey

Today we were all alone, no Linus, no Ebba. So we decided to go downtown to watch the hockey-game. It was the quarter-finals and our team was playing. It went to overtime and finally we lost. Oh well....maybe next year. The picture is from the bar. We are regulars here and everyone knows each other. The bar owner's name is Ohran, he is a rally big guy that always greet us with a hug. I love this place...

King Linus

The castle is all done now. It's being used more by our cat Zelda then by Linus :P Zelda is like a princess up there.
I think Linus will enjoy it more when he gets a bit older. I'm really pleased with this project, it turned out quite cool!

Playground

Woke up late today, Linus had a bit of croup tonight. It happens sometimes when he has a cold. This morning after breakfast we went to the playground. Ebba loves to run around in the sand and Linus is climbing like a monkey :P

Jason

Friday the 13th! No bad luck so far.... This is a pic of my homemade garlic olives. Really good snack compared to eating chips and other unhealthy snacks.

TV

This is our TV and stereo furniture. I installed a couple of small lights behind the TV to make a slight glow on the black wall behind. The red light comes from the lamp in the ceiling which has a red glass cover.

Misse

Erika was busy this afternoon, so I took Ebba for a long walk. It was snowing lightly and it wasn't too cold. I could have taken a million great pictures, if I had brought the camera. So instead I took a picture of our cat Zoey. She has her own "tree" in our bedroom where she spends most of her life, so it seems at least.

Fallback

I've spent all day in Stockholm attending a meeting with one of our customers. When I finally got back home I had another meeting over the telephone with a customer in the Dominican Republic. And to top off the misery... the snow is back. Yesterday spring was knocking on our door. Today, winter took back what rightfully belongs to him.

EE

Erika and Ebba on a stone. The weather was really nice today when we took Ebba for a walk. The sun was shining and even though the woods were really wet and muddy we couldn't resist walk around in them. I had to shower Ebba after the walk, Erika could take care of her self :P

Neighbor-cat

We are watching our neighbors cats for a few days, this is Azu. Boy does she have a lot of fur.

Genealogy

My mom, who is a hobbyist genealogist, helps Erika to find old relatives from times past. The time was way past bedtime but they were still going strong.

Liquorwall

On our way home we flied through Amsterdam Schipol just like on the way down. We had a couple of hours so we sat down in a nice restaurant and relaxed. It really didn't feel like an airport in this place.

Mariott

This is the hotel in Istanbul that we stayed at. It's was quite new and really nice. The best part was that it was only a 5-10 minutes drive to the place where we worked. Istanbul traffic is really bad so this was very good.

Mousepad

I added 3 blog entries today. Been traveling and working. Fortunately I took pictures everyday anyway.
The office table in the hotel room has a glass cover which prevents my optical mouse from working properly. I always travel with two laptops so the second one had to do as mousepad. Most expensive mousepad ever :P

Workday

After a long workday I was tired and out of inspiration. Just took this picture of myself laying in bed. Turned out pretty cool.

Tiger

Today Erika and I went to Istanbul, Turkey to work. We work for the same employer and sometimes her projects needs my assistance so I get to travel with her. Very pleasant not to be lonely on the hotel. I'm used to travel the world and being by myself so I really enjoy the company.
Erika is really happy to drink a Tiger beer, it's her favourite beer.

Snowmobile

This day started out just like yesterday! Before going home for lunch a neighbor to my ILs came by with a snowmobile. I just love to drive them. He lend me it and Erika and Linus jumped on. We went for a ride on the lake nearby. Linus was all quiet and didn't say a thing until we stopped. He was sooo impressed. The only thing I regret was that I didn't take a ride by myself, so that I could really stretch the legs on the machine. I'm a speed'o'holic and could use a thrill.

Hotdog

We got out of bed early today, had breakfast and the headed for the golf course for some sledding. After a few hours of dragging the sled up the #%&"# hill we went back to the ILs house. We lit a little fire in the back yard and had lunch. Linus really enjoyed it and it was all together a wonderful day.

Deer

Today we went to my IL. It's a 3 hour drive north. We got there quite late so Linus went to bed just after arriving. We stayed up and talked, had a few beers. Suddenly a deer shows up just outsde the window, 1,5 meters from us, eating from the bird feeder. We fetched the camera but he saw us moving and ran out in the street. So unfortunately the picture is with the deer far away but he looked at us when we took the picture.
